Yesterday I sparked two wires that lead directly to the battery. I should have removed the negative terminal but I was in a hurry (and it was a quick fix) so I got careless. Now I've got speedometer problems. From 0-5mph the needle doesn't react. When I let off the gas, say at 20mph, then give it gas, the needle doesn't react 'til about 25mph. So its 5mph off at all times.

It's screwing with the entire timing of the vehicle. Fuel injection is off. Shifting is late and hard. I'm constantly riding in the 'red zone'. I've checked the fuse, which was fine.

I don't know where to go from here.

THANKS.
