The car was running fine then it just died while driving along at 45 mph. The car was towed home, I proceeded to disassemble the outer belts, (alt. Ac. &Ps.)So I could pull the timing belt cover off. Thats where my lack of knowledge comes in, Ibelieve I got all the bolts out, yet I cant get the timing cover to come off. Is there a hidden bolt somewhere or some special procedure I have overlooked? Please help if you can. Thank you.

Hi Leo Milner,

If all the bolts are off, the cover should be loose. Check which point is stuck and you might have missed out on a bolt. If you have not taken out the crankshaft pulley, behind it there are 2 bolts.

If replacing the timing belt, you are replacing the gasket, so buy the gasket, and count the bolts you took off.
