Hi,
I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant- 4cyl, which has done 117,000 miles. Recently I started noticing a Grinding noise whenever I take sharp turns (either side). I feather the throttle when I turn most times, But the noise comes when i trying to accelerate on the straight after I take a turn as well. Could this be a differential problem?

Hi suhasabk,

Thank you for the donation.

If noise sounds like crock, crock, crock, it is caused by bad CV shafts.

Check the CV shaft boots to see if they are torn. Other tell tale signs would be grease splattered on the axle just behind the tires or onto internal portion of rims.
