1999 Mitsubishi Galant STALLING

I`m having a problem my car turns on ok but after driveing a mile or so it stalls and shuts down. I can turn it on again on park but as soon as I put it on drive it begans to stall and shuts off again. I replace the two coils, spark plugs and wires and air filter thinking that it might needed a tune up but It keeps turning off on me. Please help me. Give me some advice or idea what can be causing it to shut off. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE ABE

Are you getting spark if so -check the fuel pressure with a gauge should read while idling at 38psi

Can the idle control cause this stalling. I have a friend telling me that the idle control is defective but I hate to spend over 350 dollars for a part that may not solve my problem. Can it be possible that this can cause the car to stall and turn off while driving.

Do you have the corrrect fuel pressure? I need to know this before we go somewhere else. Could very well be the crankshaft position sensor or an ignition control module and the idle air control motor-also check the EGR valve
