Transmission problem
1995 Mitsubishi Galant 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i have gottin a new transmission for my car an wen I put the fluid in an put it in drive I hear this clickin noise wen ever I put it in D, R but not N. But the car wont move backwards nor forward. An also can a cv-joint that isnt push way in the trans can cause a car not to move

Hi there,

If the CV splines are not fully engaged you cam loose drive, they have "C"clips that locate the shaft in, make sure that they are fully engaged, if they are and the transmission oil level is correct and the selector is working, I would be suspecting a faulty transmission.
