1992 Mitsubishi Galant rough running starts hard

We replaced the plugs, distributor cap and wires but it still idle rough and starts hard. It starts easier when its warmed up

Hi jefff smith,

If possible I would like to know the engine type.

When you mention rough idle, is the ildling fluctuating up and down a lot or is it just struggling to keep running?

Did the check engine light come on?

Have you done a scan to find any stored codes in the ECM?
