2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor popping noise

Everytime i turn the steering wheel left or right, when im in park i hear a popping sound. Then when i start to drive i feel the steering wheel pull to the left or right but then it stops...what could cause this?

Start with having the drive shaft CV joints checked for wear.
