I recently recieved a code reading a cylinder 4 misfire. What would I need to do to fix this myself.

i would change the spark plug and plug wire, if its a cop design i woudl switch it wiht another coil from another cylinder, problem move or go away when this is done?
if so replace the parts you switched if not, check the fuel injector should be clicking when firing, if not suspect its faulty.
if all above is good check the compression.
