2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Airconditioner leaks into the car.

Air Conditioning problem
2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive 40000 miles

The condensation from my air conditioner drains back into my driver side floor rather than outside. The floor is always wet and every morning the windows have dew on the inside. How can I fix this?

Hi chac57,

There is a drain hose at the lowest part of the evaporator housing leading out through the firewall.

Check and see if it is clogged by squeezing it or inserting something to clear it.

If a lot of water flows out after doing the above, you have solved the problem except getting the carpet dry.
