2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse Trouble codes

I have a 2002 Eclipse GT, manual trans with 107,000 miles. I have had an intermittant (once every couple of months, we reset it) code 300; Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire since it was at the dealer at 60,000 miles. The dealer said to disregard it. I now have a trouble code 421; Warm Up Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1), in conjunction with the code 300. Any ideas for either?

421 probably brought the 300 code as it probably is giving a lean fuel to air ratio mixture

replace the o2 sensor in bank 1.
