my son somehow lost the metal line coming from the transmission cooler on the radiator (drivers side of the radiator). I replaced it and reattached the rubber hose. He was driving down the highway when this supposedly happened. He stated that it "just quit" (the transmission that is). My guess it that it is fried. However, there is still plenty of fluid on the dipstick, as a matter of fact it may be overfull. Now the thing wont go in gear, it does increase the engine RPM slightly when it is placed in reverse or drive. Is there any hope for this tranny?
