2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse headlight socket?

i'm looking for the part that the light bulb itself connects to. it's a black plastic piece, with wires running to it, behind the light bulb and light bulb cover. it's melted and needs to be replaced. i can't use my headlights without it. problem is i can't find it or the name of what it is actually called.

Ask for headlight socket, jus like you said.

The parts tech ought to know what that is.
