Air Conditioning problem
2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse

my air conditioning wasn't working all summer coolant levels perfect even did a shot a freon (sp?) nothing would work. Could the problem be my thermostat on the car?

second question is this,
When the air wasn't working my heat still worked until now. I had a problem with my air filter it loosened and came off i put it back on and after that my heat quit working. Is there a relationship with the filter and my heat?

and what could i do?

No heat could mean, thermostat problem-No cool air-AC system could be leaking freon somewhere
