How do I remove the valve covers to change the valve cover gaskets? I've removed the valve cover bolts however, the valve cover still will not budge.

HI there,

Just make sure that all the bolts have been removed an pry it up with a screw driver, they can be very hard to shift if they have been on for some time, just take it easy and you should not have any problems.

Hi,
Anyone know how difficult it would be to do this on a V6? Since a differnet engine and all. Thanks

V6 is a little more of a pain then a 4cyl. You have a few things to move before you can get the valve cover off.

On the 4cyl after you pry the valve cover off like he said make sure you wipe all the grime/oil from the rim of the valve cover for a tight seal. I cleaned my valve cover and gave it a makeover before I placed it back on hehe had to have some fun. Its not like ya change the valve cover gaskets very often .
