My car started making a squeaking sound under the hood today. I stopped by VIP and the mechanic lifted the hood and listened. He said a pulley was going. He wouldn't know which one until he got in to look. Also, said a belt looked worn and should probably be replaced. My car is due to go into my mechanic in four days. Can I drive the car until then and if so, how far?

Hi agrossi,

Thank you foe the donation.

It is not possible to gauge how long the pulley or belt is going to last without physically inpecting the components.

Since this is an emergency situation, you should get it checked instead of waiting.
