Hi my name is tim, my girl friends car has has a high idle 1600 to 2000 rpm. She has paid a lot of money to have this fix before and nothing was fix. she had a new iac put in tune up ect. i tested all the vac lines and not leak and made sure they were connected right. i took off the egr and checked that it was good. i also checked the iac make sure it was good and it was moving. i put my scan tool in and check all the sensors and they looked fine. the only thing i can think is maybe the mass air flow sensor is bad or something with the pcm. if you have any ideas please let know. Thanks

Clean the MAF sensor and test the throttle position sensor.
