Where is the shift solenoid located and how do u change it?

SOLENOID/PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY
Removal & Installation
NOTE:
Do not use solvents or petroleum based cleaners on sound cover. Solvents may deteriorate sound cover or electrical components.

1. Disconnect input speed sensor connector. Remove input speed sensor. Disconnect solenoid/pressure switch assembly harness connector. Remove sound cover from solenoid/pressure switch assembly.

2. Remove 3 solenoid/pressure switch assembly retaining bolts. See Fig. 11 . Remove sound cover attaching plate and gaskets. To install, reverse removal procedure. Before installing sound cover, clean sound cover and sound cover-to-transaxle mating surface.

3. Apply a bead of RTV sealant to sound cover-to-transaxle mating surface and install sound cover. Failure to apply sealant will cause a racheting noise from sound cover vibration.
