when im taking off in my car from a stop, if i accelerate slow it doesnt pop until i mash the pedal. but if i mash the pedal from a dead start it pops. sometimes when i decelerate it pops. i thought it could be a mount or something so i was going to jack it up n look at it. but today i was looking at my car and i noticed the rear was lowered n the front was lifted. no i think maybe it has something to do with the struts. wich may explain the popping, like shifting the inital weight maybe?

Hi marine1jensen,

Hoist up the car and see if any of the arms bushes or bolts are loose.

Unless the strut mounts are faulty, if not they should not be causing any noises.

Check for worn or damaged engine mounts.
