Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse 4 cyl Automatic 104000 miles

I have a 1998 Mitsubishi GST Spyder Eclipse that blows significant amounts of bad smelling white smoke (not vapor) from the exhaust when the car has been sitting idle (in park or barely moving in traffic) for several minutes. The smoke clears up after the car begins driving again at normal speeds. Is this serious? Should I stop driving on it?
