I had a broken timing belt replaced, along with valve repair, then two days later the timing belt jumped again because the bolt holding the tensioner broke. My local mechanic said it looked like the tensioner was pushed too far forward, but the mechanic who did the work said that is impossible because it auto-adjusts. Who is correct? Where can I find that information in print?
