1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse 4 cyl Automatic 130000 miles

i have a 98 eclipse and the seat is malfunctioning, its not stay at one spot, i have no idea what is wrong with it it suddenly happened when i sat in my car it just reclined all the way back and i wasn't able to recline it back up because it would go back every time. any help?

Hi there,

The recliner control in the side of the seat has failed, you will need to get a mechanic to inspect it to see if it is repairable or a new recliner is required.
