1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse Belt Squeaking

A noise was coming from belt area so I applied belt dressing and it got worst. If I spray WD40 it goes away for a while then comes back.

I have a 98 gsx eclipse and had the same problem. I used sidewalk chalk to get rid of the noise but it would come back as well. The problem on mine came from spilling coolant on the belts. the only solution is to replace belts and clean pully before installing. This worked on mine.
