i have a question for you guys.. i have a 98 mitsubishi eclipse with the 420a non turbo i turboed it out and built the motor5.....welll the other day we were tryin o get it to start we had it running and it would not keep a idle i checked the vac lines they are all good also the only code that comes up is the map sensor voltage to high i changed map sensors still comes up could it be the dcomputer that is bad there..... also when we had the car runnin i tried holdin the car at a rpm weell i was holdin it and it backfired and shut off.. now all of a sudden the igniton coil is not gettin and power to it.. we checked the plug and it does not have any power at anytime.. could this also be the ecm.. thank you

It could be the ECM, but I would check the sensors and current supply first.
