Yesterday, there was nothing wrong with my car. This morning I lent it to my mother who drove it about 40-50 miles. She came home and asked me why the speedometer didnt work. I went out to look at it and started it up. Immediately I noticed that she had driven the car in overdrive for at least half, possibly the whole trip. The check engine light is now on as well, and indeed, the speedometer doesnt work. Could this be a fuse issue? Or something more? Thank you for your help.
