I need detailed instructions on how to replace the belts

I have a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST 5 spd manual and I need detailed instructions on how to replace the alternator belt and a/c compressor belt. Thank you for you time.

Hello,

The belts can be changed on this vehicle by using the adjustments on the alternator bracket and the A/C compressor bracket.
For the alternator loosen the nut of the pivot bolt.
Loosen the lock bolt.
This will allow you to move the alternator to release the tension on the belt.
For the A/C belt you will have to loosen the bolt on the tension pulley and that will allow you to get the belt out.
