I recently had the engine monitors reset after the "Check engine" light came on. since then I have filled the gas tank, driven in town and on freeways for about 250 miles and at lease 10 minutes at a time, cooled engine down every night for 2 weeks. Still I have about 6 control registers on the engine computer that remain not available, namely two oxygen sensors, evaporative sensor, EGR sensor, and others. My mechanic has no suggestions. How can I get these sensors to resume operation quickly? 949-831-6000.

My smog check must be completed in Dec09 or I risk a "no registration" fine.

Thanks in advance.
