Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hello! I was wondering why my car is bogging out when I step in the gas? We have replaced the spark plugs, the fuel filter and one of the fuel injectors. It idles fine but when I step on the gas to go, it bogs out. Was wondering if it is dirty fuel injectors or something else? Thank you.

Lack of acceleration, chugging, hesitating, bogging etc. could be caused by one of the following below.

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.
