I just had the transmission rebuilt by Mitsubishi everything is new except the housing and the gears. My clutch pedal just recently dropped to the floor for no reason. I was driving on the interstate and it was fine and when I got on the off ramp it just went straight to the floor and has been that way all day. Its like the clutch wont disengage because there is no pressure. My question is what would cause it to do that just out of the blue?

Leak in the line a bad clutch slave or master cylinder. Or the clutch slave cylinder poston popped out of clutch fork.
Crawl under vehicle look for leaks and check clutch slave.

The day after I posted this I looked under the dash at the clutch master cylinder rod that attaches to the pedal and it was bent badly. I went to buy a new master cylinder yesturday and it now works.
