my clutch stopped working and smoke came from the hood clutch would not disengage

Hi there,
Sounds as if you have destroyed the clutch plate, but first do you still have a pedal? that is do you still have pressure on the clutch? if you have lost pedal pressure check for a fluid leak in the hydraulics, otherwise i feel it will be the box out and check for clutch damage.

The transmission will have to be removed, do you have the equipment to do this job?
