1988 Mitsubishi Eclipse engine doesnt start

The car was fine, but in the morning all of the suddent the car was on and it turned of by its self, I would disconnect the battery and the ecu for a while and then it would turn on but then it would turn off again. I brought some mechanics they say that the sparkplugs aint getting spark(power). Wat can it be please help me out

No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors- Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it

Can it also be the ecu or the fuel pump

Sir-you need to check for spark and fuel-do below before we deal with the brain

Disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine -have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light.

The mechanic did that and there was no spark at all.
