The clutch was replaced but will not go into second gear. Do i need to replace the transmission

HI there,
Thank you for the donation,
Can you select all other gears ok? can you select 2nd gear engine off start and drive off and change up ok? was the gear box oil checked when the clutch was replaced, let me know your answers here.

The gear oil was checked. It will not go into second gear at anytime...it pops back out. All other gears are fine.

Hi there,
I feel that this will be either a problem with the selector, or a cable length, or if that is ok, it will be a problem with the second shift hub with in the transmission.
