i have a 93 mitsubishi 3000gt non turbo. and i heard it was ok to take the maf sensor off and that it wont hurt it. but at the same time i have heard it will hurt my car.. i wanted to get a professional opinion on it.

the MAF sensor needs to stay in place otherwise the engine will run very poorly and the air/fuel ratio will be all out of whack...
