There are two ports located in front top of engine, one terminates to the PVC and the bottom one is missing. There is just an open port sucking air in. I am stymied. Any clues?

There is a vacuum hose routing diagram on the emissions sticker under the hood, that is correct for your year and optional equipment. If there is a hose that is disconnected, the diagram will show what it goes to. If no hose is shown, there was a square foam filter on that port.

One of the hoses was connected to a closed port located on the right side of the manifold. That emissions diagram located under the hood was very valuable to me. After placing the hoses in the correct position. I was able to clear the idle code and the check engine light went out. The vehicle runs great.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
George Gooch
