Hello, my name is Raymond, I will start giving you the details as best I can, the car gave me the problem of the accelerator pedal sensor, I bought one on Amazon and I was removing the throttle body to install the new accelerator pedal sensor, what should I tell you? It didn't work in my car, well I keep removing the throttle body and disconnecting the plugs from the connectors. The plug that goes from the car to the idler air control motor has two cables coming out (this connector is aftermarket), the purple one and the other one. Orange and I don't know how they go now, after that I realized that this cable runs on the left side of the engine where a cable comes out with a connector to the accelerator pedal sensor and then continues to the idler air control motor with another connector, Looking and looking for how to resolve the cables that came out of the connector housing, I see that there are 3 broken cables and only one connected to the main cable that runs around the motor. Now the thing is that those three, along with the only one connected, are brown and I don't know the sequence in which they go or would be connected to the purple, yellow, green, orange ones, I tried to find which one went with which for continuity but when I put the voltmeter at the end of one of the cables and the other end on the other side, the voltmeter did not detect anything in the three that are broken. Now I have the code p0122, p0222 and the code p0235, I really don't know what to do and I'm already deciding to buy the new throttle body, I hope you can give a good answer and information about this problem I have with my 2003 Lexus Is 300, thank you so much.

Hi Raymond,

Here are the accelerator pedal sensor wiring diagrams so you can get that part repaired.

P0122 - Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) "A" Circuit Low Input:
P0222 - Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "B" Circuit Low Input:
P0235 - Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Sensor "A" Circuit Malfunction:

These codes should go away once the wiring is repaired. Please clear the codes once completed. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
