Starts runs fine then starts missing stops missing then does it again. Why does it keep missing?

The engine misfires when it needs a tune up, new spark plugs, etc.

Plug Type .................... PGR5C-11
Champion .................... RN10PYP4

Gap .................... 1.0 - 1.1 mm (0.039 - 0.043 in)
