robbed of all power and then it kicks right back in. its a really fast misfire not a single slow one. it does it more in high boost.

Hi,
Did you check for diagnostic trouble codes? I would start by determining which cylinder or cylinders are causing the misfire and then start with those cylinders by checking plugs, wires, and so on.

I realize most people don't have a scan tool, but oftentimes a parts store will scan it for you at no charge.
Do this and let me know what codes are retrieved. Also, let me know if you have other questions.
