I had the spark plug and coil replaced but it says it's misfiring on 1, 2, 5, and 6. So would I need to replace the plugs and wires?

Hi,

What I would recommend is to remove the spark plugs from those cylinders and inspect them. If you can, take a few pics of them and upload them for me to see.

Also, keep in mind, there are other things that can cause a misfire. So, if you have diagnostic trouble codes, let me know what they are.

Let me know what you find or if I can help in any way.

Take care,

Joe

The original report said I needed to reinstall my vacuum hose at the intake manifold or Fuel Pressure regulator

I also had the following codes:

P0171 System too lean
P0174 System too lean (Bank 2)
P0154 02 circuit no activity detected (Bank 2, sensor 1)
P0134 02 circuit no activity detected (Bank 1, sensor 1)
P0320 Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed input circuit
P0300 random misfire detected
P0305 Cylinder 5 misfire detected
P0304 cylinder 4 misfire detected
P0302 cylinder 2 misfire detected
P0301 cylinder 1 misfire detected

C1102 Battery voltage Low.

C1203 Right front wheel speed sensor signal open/short.

These were all the codes that appeared.

Hi,

In addition to the replacement of the vacuum hoses, was anything done as far as the oxygen sensors and the battery voltage issue?

A lean mixture can cause a misfire, but the oxygen sensors not responding can cause issues as well.

Let me know that and also, let me know if you have or have access to a live data scan tool.

Take care,

Joe

Before I had it worked on it, the vacuum hoses needed to be reinstalled. It still said it after it had been worked on it. Nothing was done to the oxygen sensors or about the battery voltage issue. It cranks fine and it runs fine except for the occasional sip and sputter which is better than it was running before I had it worked on. I have to take the car to AutoZone to have it checked.

Hi,

I feel we need to see if there are diagnostic trouble codes present that will help point us in the right direction.

If you can, let me know what codes are found when you go to AZ.

Take care,

Joe
