Engine begins to misfire after warming up?

Could it be an ignition coil?

Hi,

It certainly could be a coil. It also could be several different things. For example, a failing crankshaft position sensor, a fuel pressure issue, a partially clogged catalytic converter, an engine vacuum leak, and so on.

By chance, have you had the computer scanned to narrow down the location of the misfire? If you haven't, I suggest it.

If you don't have a scan tool, most parts stores will do it free of charge. Have that done and let me know what is found.

In the interim, here is a link that explains how to locate a vacuum leak. Take a look through it and check under the hood to see if you see anything disconnected or damaged.
