I erased my whole message I just did by accident. Okay, starting over, I bought this SUV two weeks ago to where it left me stranded and stuck not starting. Replaced the coil wires rotor cap and would not start. Checking for spark pulled number one spark plug wire and it started with seven not eight. Checked codes and p01351 came up ignition coil module next to coil. I replaced this and it started, but ran really rough still. Checked codes again and up came five codes two for p0300 and two for p1406 and one for p0131. The single is for EGG valve replaced that still rough and stalling out, 1406 codes are bank one 02 sensor driver side. This I have not replaced due to no money. And last the two 0300 codes are for misfire, this really sucks and I could use some direction here as I was going to pull the cover on the vortec and clean out the injectors to see if this helps. What do I do as I cannot afford a shop? Thank you

Hey ERNEST,

It didn't say you replaced the spark plugs? This is where I would start then clear all codes and try again.

Please let me know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Best, Ken

Yep, change the plugs, toss a can of either seafoam or techron cleaner in the tank to help free up the poppet valves and clean the spider. Check the cap for issues, I've had two of them have a bad center contact in the past couple months.
