Misfire/rough running?

The truck was running pretty rough. I took it to a mechanic, and the guy said it was skipping. He replaced the spark plugs, wires, and coil packs. The plugs were terrible. I got the truck back, it does run better, but still running really rough. Especially at low RPMs and under load. I heard that I should check vacuum lines, but I only know the basics of keeping a car running. Oil, brakes, tires, starters. Anything else and I'm kind of in the dark.

It sounds like you have low compression in one or more for the cylinders.
