Code p305, misfire on restart?

Car misfires when restarted only never in morning when first driven. I can drive for an hour it doesn't happen only on restart and doesn't go away until next day when cold. Code p305 cylinder 5 misfire. Thinking I need new injectors most likely?

Hi,

It could be related to the injector, but there are other things as well.

If you allow the engine to fully cool during the day, does it still have the misfire? I ask because it sounds like it is being affected by heat.

Try this. Switch the coil pack from cylinder 5 to a different cylinder. See pic below. Switch cylinder 5 and cylinder 3 coils. See if the misfire moves to cylinder 3.
