Bad misfire

Have changed the EGR valve and plugs and wires. Still having the same problem. Codes were read and it came back for a mass air flow sensor? Would a bad MAF cause an engine misfire? Please help!!

Yes. The MAF can cause issues with misfires because this is what the PCM uses to determine how much air is entering the engine in order to match the proper amount of fuel to achieve proper air/fuel mixture.
