misfire

hi there good evening, i have an issue with my e46 m54 engine. i have changed camshaft sensor three times and i have a misfire when it starts. i have one from eBay 15£ this one works but misfires after days days, then i got a Delphi i starts failing after twenty four hours reset the code every three to five days "misfire" but after fifty days it misfires all the time and car stopped while running so yesterday i got a Vemo sensor and again misfire. :( and diagnostics from my device or any mechanic is the same camshaft sensor. I do not know what to do.

Hello,

They had big problems with the camshaft vanos unit which controls the cam timing. The sensor is not bad it is the mechanical part that moves the camshaft (vanos) you can get a rebuild kit for it.
