Engine misfires after reaching operating temperature?

165,000 MILES • 3.6L • V6 • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

Car runs great until it gets up to normal operating temperature, then it starts to mis until it gets into overdrive. I have replaced all plugs (twice) fuel injectors, MAF, o2 sensor and checked all the coil packs. I don't know what else to do or try. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Has the check engine light turned on when this happens? By chance, does it flash?

The first thing that pops into my mind is the crankshaft position sensor. When they begin to fail, oftentimes heat affects them. Once they cool, they begin working properly again.
