Misfire

Truck is missing just started. No hard codes. Code p0300 is pending though. Thinking fuel pump it was replaced five years ago.

Hello,

I would start by doing the spark plugs there is a specific way they must be done. Use this guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job.

Then clear the codes and you should be all set.

Spark plugs are fairly new and problem is intermittent did not act up at all this afternoon

The pending P0300 code it telling you there is a misfire but the system has not figured out which cylinder it is yet. You might just drive it until it gets worse and then run the codes again to see which cylinder it is. I sounds like an ignition coil is starting to go out which is common on these trucks.
