I have run flat tires on my car and I just got them in May, yesterday the tire pressure signal came on indicating that I may have a flat or significantly low air pressure. I was wondering how I can tell? Also am I supossed to put air in these tires just like normal tires?

Yes, they need air just like a normal tire. A regular tire pressure gauge is all you need. Any tire shop / service center should be able to check your air pressure for you. Your owners manual will tell you what the pressure should be, or you may have a sticker inside the door opening.
