Does replacement of the brake pads front & rear on my vehicle require special tools such as the caliper compressor or a special socket for removal of the front secondary caliper bolts. I don't want to get half way thru this andf find out I do not have the necessary tools.

Gary, brake work will require several tools, a large pair of channel lock pliers to push the piston back, tools to remove the wheels, metric socket set, metric Allen wrenches, a hammer, wire brush and gloves for your hands, don't get that dust in your skin. There isn't anything special about it.
