Mileage question

My engine has 66,000 miles but engine hours of 2,136. Why is that not matching what miles should be. This was a used vehicle and I'm trying to figure out what kind of life it had before.

Good morning,

Engine hours are based on the engine on time. If the truck did a lot of idling, the hours will not meet the mileage at all.

Thanks for the info, with the difference I have, is the anything mechanical I should look into to possibly might be on it's way out? I search idling for long and I seen spark plugs wear out. Anything else?

Just the fluids. Make sure you change the oil, transmission, coolant, brake and power steering on a regular basis.
