2001 MG ZR Noise in low revs but moving

2001 MG ZR Two Wheel Drive Manual 33000 miles

I get a strange noise scrapy/squeaky when driving steadily between 1500-2k revs. Not with hard breaking or fast accelerating nor when stationary. It started a week ago and is getting worse. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi there,

Have the brake pads checked for condition, this may be the wear indicator touching the rotor.
