Hi,
I'm struggling to isolate a creaking noise from the front of the car. I thought it was the strut. The spring is ok and I can move the damper with difficulty in and out. No leaks.

I have noticed however that when I do a bounce or rather push down the front that the car does not come back to the original postion it started as expected.

Is it the strut thats just got tired? should I be able to push the damper 'rod' fully in and pull fully out. I have to applied all body weight to do this though.
kind regards
Richard
